The Gothic Black crystal cremation urn is crafted in the Czech Republic by Bohemian glass artisans from 24% full-lead crystal with a silver metallic finish.

An Astonishing and Brilliant Art Form
Crystal urns are made by encasing a layer of clear glass into a layer of molten, colored glass. The double-cased crystal is then re-heated and blown into the desired shape of the urn. Once the glass has cooled, the artist holds the glass to a rapidly-rotating disk that cuts into the color layer of the crystal. A design is created by turning the piece and varying the length of time it is held to the disk, creating visual contrast. The cut glass is then polished to create an astonishing surface that reflects light.

Perfect for Home Display or Burial
Because crystal urns are painstakingly crafted, we recommend that they be kept at home. However, crystal urns can be entombed in a cemetery columbarium niche or buried in an earth grave. Please note some cemetery regulations may require that this urn be placed inside of an urn vault prior to earth burial.
