UrnShopper.com is an online catalog based in the United States, offering a large selection of cremation urns and other related funeral merchandise. Before you place an order to purchase merchandise from us, you must first read and accept all of the terms contained in this Online Ordering Policy and the User Agreement. By placing an order with us, you hereby agree and accept to be bound to all of the terms set forth in this Policy.


 Binding Agreement

Once you have placed an order to buy merchandise online from UrnShopper.com, you have entered into a binding agreement to purchase merchandise from us. When ordering online, the price at which your order is submitted is the locked-in price, unless a mistake has been made in our catalog database. Every effort has been made to avoid mistakes in pricing. However, human error, product alterations, and undisclosed manufacturer price changes dictate that any typographical, photographical, clerical or other discrepancies are subject to change.


 International Orders

UrnShopper.com Canada (https://canada.urnshopper.com), is our online catalog designed exclusively for the convenience and benefit of our Canadian neighbors. However, UrnShopper.com, LLC is located in the United States, and all products ordered from the domains and subdomains of canada.urnshopper.com will ship from the United States; UrnShopper.com, LLC has no operations located in Canada. We also ship to many other countries. Please contact us for additional information if you are an international customer.

 Product Availability

Because some merchandise listed in our online catalog is not regularly kept in stock, it may take up to five (5) business before your merchandise leaves our shipping facility, unless otherwise specified. By placing an your order with us, you hereby agree to and accept these terms regarding processing and handling time. Please do NOT schedule any memorial service(s) until your order has been delivered to you and is in your possession. We are not responsible for any reasonable delays in processing your order, nor are we responsible for any damages resulting from these delays.

Sometimes products become discontinued and we may be unable to complete your order. Although this is rare, it can sometimes happen. We make every effort to keep our online catalog as up-to-date as possible, but we have no control over undisclosed manufacturer changes for items not kept in stock. If your order cannot be completed, we will notify you by email and/or telephone and you will receive a full refund.


 Payment Options

Providing us with your credit card information is required because it is the only payment option available for online orders. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.


 Merchandise Photographs

A photograph of each product is provided for every item in our online catalog. There may be slight differences in the photograph from the actual item you receive. This is especially true in the case handmade or hand-painted urns, or urns crafted from unique, natural materials.


 Cancellation of Orders

Once your order is placed, we will immediately begin to process it. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed. For more information about returns, please see our Return Policy below.


 Warranty & Representation

No representations or warranties are made by us regarding any of our merchandise. The only warranties, express or implied, granted in connection with goods sold from this Web site, are the express written warranties, if any, extended by the manufacturers thereof. No other warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are extended. Merchandise available from this Web site will NOT delay the decomposition of the cremated remains for a long-term or indefinite time, and will NOT protect the cremated remains from gravesite or other environmental substances.


 Shipping Policy

UNITED STATES CUSTOMERS:

Free Ground Shipping & Processing Times
'Free Shipping' is included for all orders with shipping addresses located within the lower 48 contiguous United States only. Shipping is considered to be 'free' because the actual cost to ship the order has been factored into the retail price. Alaska and Hawaii residents must pay actual shipping costs. Orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express (FedEx), or United States Postal Service (USPS). The shipping service is chosen at our sole discretion. Each package is fully insured. Tracking numbers will be provided to customers when the package ships. Orders can only be shipped to a physical address located within the United States (no P.O. Box addresses).

Expedited Shipping
We understand that sometimes cremation urns can be time-sensitive. If you request expedited shipping, the request MUST be made via email BEFORE you place your order, to ensure we can have your order delivered to you in time. After your request for expedited shipping has been made via email, we will immediately inform you of the length of time it typically takes specific merchandise to leave our shipping facility, how long it will take for you to receive your merchandise, and how much the expedited shipping services will cost.

The customer must pay for all expedited shipping costs. Actual expedited shipping charges will NOT appear on your order invoice. Actual expedited shipping charges will appear as a SEPARATE charge on your credit card statement.

If a request for expedited shipping is made by the customer AFTER an order has already been placed, the merchandise MAY NOT reach its destination in time, and we are not responsible for this delay, nor are we responsible for any damages resulting from this delay. If arrangements for expedited shipping have not been made with us prior to placing your order and we cannot deliver your merchandise by a specific date, the order may be returned, subject to our Return Policy. Please refer to our Return Policy below for additional information.

CANADIAN AND INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:

All Canadian and other international orders are mailed from our warehouse in the United States via United States Postal Service (USPS). However, upon request, we can ship your order via United Parcel Service (UPS) or Federal Express (FedEx). If you are under delivery time constraints, please contact us BEFORE placing your order. Expedited shipping is currently not available for Canadian and other international customers.

Once the package leaves the United States and is turned over to Customs, the package may be held up for a week or longer. Also, tracking information may not be provided by USPS. After the package has been released by Customs, it will be turned over to your country's postal service to make the delivery. USPS Priority Mail International usually takes around 6-10 business days for delivery, but again, Customs may hold the package which could significanty delay delivery. UrnShopper.com is not responsible for any Customs delays, because these delays are beyond and outside of our control.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Canadian and other international residents are responsible for paying all Customs taxes, import duties, tariffs, and brokerage fees, if applicable, upon delivery of the shipment.

INSURANCE:

We fully insure all of our shipments, for both United States and international orders. Should anything happen while your package is in transit to you, it will be covered by our insurance policy. However, we will not accept responsibility if you have left instructions with any carriers or delivery service to leave parcels unattended for you. Or, if you have given them instructions to leave your package with someone else such as a building manager, neighbor, drop-off location such as Mail Boxes etc., The UPS Store, etc., your package will not be covered. When we ship to you, if your merchandise is lost or damaged in transit, it is our responsibility to pursue any claim with the insurance company. If we determine the package is lost or damaged, we will file a claim. Once the claim is filed, we reserve the right to re-ship your items or refund your money at our discretion. Merchandise is thoroughly inspected before we ship.



 Return Policy

UNITED STATES CUSTOMERS:

Non-defective merchandise may be returned to us within thirty (30) days from the date on which the customer receives delivery, provided that all non-defective merchandise is still in brand new condition and has been kept in all of its original packaging.

Shipping costs are not refundable for any non-defective merchandise. If you received 'Free Shipping' with your order, shipping was not actually free; the cost to ship your order was factored into the retail price. Therefore, the actual cost to originally ship your order will be deducted from your refund. In addition, it is the customer's responsibility to pay for all costs (including full insurance coverage) associated with returning your order and shipping the package back to us.

All of our merchandise is thoroughly tested and inspected to ensure that it functions exactly as the manufacturer had intended. However, if you receive defective merchandise, you must notify us and return the defective merchandise back to us within thirty (30) days from the date on which the customer receives delivery. We will provide you with either a full refund or an exchange.

Items that cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged:

  • Any item that has been personalized or engraved


  • Urns or jewelry that have been filled


  • Items that have been damaged or tampered with by the customer


  • Expedited shipping charges are not refundable unless a shipping error occurs on our behalf

CANADIAN AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:

Although UrnShopper.com only sells brand-new products of the highest quality, no returns will be accepted, nor will refunds or exchanges be issued for any international orders.

Charges made from this Web site to your credit card account will appear on your monthly credit card statement as UrnShopper.com.


 Currency Conversion

All merchandise listed on the UrnShopper.com Canada Web site is priced in United States dollars (USD). Prices are provided in Canadian dollars (CAD) for convenience purposes ONLY and do NOT represent the actual charge to be made on your credit card.
